Why is immersion English learning so effective?

Language immersion is one of the most effective methods used in bilingual institutions for children. It involves introducing the child to the world of a foreign language, without explanations in the mother tongue. Thanks to this, children learn a new language intuitively, carefully observe the surroundings and situations, the description of which in a given language they assume naturally. The process is analogous to learning the mother tongue.

The immersion method is considered to be one of the most successful methods in the field of foreign language teaching. This is influenced by the use of language as a tool that allows learning about the world, and not only treating language as a teaching goal in itself.

In our nursery and kindergarten, apart from Polish-speaking teachers, there are also teachers who are fluent in English. English-speaking teachers conduct methodological classes according to the author's program every day, accompany them in games, walks, during meals, as well as artistic and physical activities. The bilingualism used in our kindergarten means that children do not actually learn English, but experience it in real life situations, which brings excellent results

In the kindergarten there are also daily English classes by a native speaker with double preparation (linguistic and pedagogical in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of National Education)
